All true. I don't have any comforting words except that usually things get better again with time and help.

If it brightens your day at all, I just finished Codex Born and I loved it!

Depression is like an alien in your head, and it will do everything it can to protect and sustain itself at your expense.

(I have a lot of friends who battle depression, and this is a recurring theme. It goes along with sub-headings like "Depression tells you not to bother doing the things you know help you," and "Depression doesn't want you to take your meds.")
