I just watched 4.2 of Korra last night, and I hated it. Hated. It. It was the worst episode I've ever seen in this series. They did every single cliched physical therapy/healing thing that TV ever does in this circumstance. Katara is the most incredibly incompetent physical therapist ever--having had to practice walking, I can tell you that gait correction is not for suckers and physical therapists do more than just clap and cheer and tell you to think RULLY RULLY HARD about it--and then telling her that her PTSD is "all in her head?" Wow. Wow, amazing fail.

As someone who has had to get PT to walk again and whose walking is not by any means guaranteed on any particular day, I felt punched in the stomach by how terribly handled this episode was.
