I have finally buckled down and Nookbooked the series, just now. Thanks for this reminder. :-)

(Back when I was new to ebooks, and had a reader with no dedicated store, I accidentally bought "Ragamuffin" in the wrong format. Several times. *humiliated* Swore off the technology for quite some time...)

The sooner we can get past DRM and proprietary ebook formats, the happier a lot of people are going to be...

Because of a "First Third" offer for his books and this ... I picked up the first three and read them this week. Very interesting.

I want the followup. This one is the only one that actually FELT like a followup was in the wings.

Only complaint? Kobo (ok, yes, VERY specific market) seems to have issues with the first line/letter of the chapters. In one it screwed up the formatting and placement, in this one the first full sentence looks like it's repeated over itself a couple of times. It's not that big a deal but enough for me to be mildly annoyed.

OTHERWISE... Cool story. And most fascinatingly? You can see the evolution of the writer from the first book to this one.

Hi, thanks for reading!

Can you send me a screenshot of that error (tobias@tobiasbuckell.com) and the kobo you're using? I'm not able to replicate it on my own kobo and would love to track down that bug and kill it dead.

-Tobias :-)

I juuust came back to this. I'll take a shot tonight and send it to you. Sorry about the delay.

Rabid fan moment: please tell me there's another book after this? LIE TO ME IF YOU HAVE TO. (ahem) /rabid fan moment. This was my not so subtle "really liked the books".

Seriously, the others seemed to be entirely wrapped up from one to the next, The Apocalypse Ocean reads as having unanswered questions. (grabby hands) Which could just be a writer being a tease. Like THAT never happens. (notlookingatJim)
