You should totally rush over to the bookstore to pick these up. (And hey, while you’re over there, you might as well check out that Libriomancer

I tried to buy Libriomancer yesterday, and they said they had three copies in stock, but they weren't going to sell it until the official on-sale date (tomorrow).

Which means I'm ordering it from B&N online, instead of in the store. And getting it for less $$, too. [Dear B&N: do you want to stay in business?] They really have a messed-up system over there.

Sigh. I don't personally get too upset about the early sales, because I don't think I'm close to hitting any of the bestseller lists anyway so it's not going to hurt me. But I wish they could at least be consistent about it.

I thought it was tomorrow on the release. So the copy I got yesterday at the used bookstore must have been an ARC or something...

Assuming you mean Libriomancer, yes, it comes out (officially) tomorrow. Some bookstores put it out a week or two early, though.

If it's a trade paperback sized book, it's an ARC. If it's hardcover, it's the real thing.
