The premise sounded good and I like Toby's writing, so I am happy to see this excellent review.
Now I am impatient...

I felt that the only point where the message became really strident was in the voice of Ivan Cohen, but that was fitting, given his character.

I very much enjoy Tobias Buckell's writing. I gave money to his Kickstarter for Apocalypse Ocean and I'm sure I'll be buying this one. I love that he is writes strong, non-Caucasian women.
