I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Darned furballs anyway. I have a couple of Maine Coons, and neither of them are very heavy - the boy-cat I had shaved last spring because he had too many fur mats for me to handle - I was surprised how lithe he was! He's not after the water snake, but his goofy little sister sure is - she sounds somethin like Flit. sort of like having a perpetual toddler around.

Aaawww man - I am sending big cat condolences. They are some of the best friends we can have when times are tough and when times are good - they are so happy to share it with us. I once posited how empty my conversations of the last 25 years would be if I didn't have cat stories to share with my friends. I am glad to hear of a few Flit stories. He sounds like she was a grand pal.
