Ventured out

Streets were not bad, no icy patches at least where I traveled. Things to watch out for:

• Falling ice from over passes and over hangs.
• Flying ice off cars in front of you, another reason not to tailgate.
• The other drivers.

Video store was quite busy, picked up four titles for $5.41.

CM, not so busy. Low on a number of things, especially meat. Glad I

Hope your trees make it. My daffodils and irises that bloomed during the past few days, gave up the ghost with the hard frost we had last night.

Oak trees should do OK, they might be bent out of shape. The ficus, well there's a bunch of them that have sprouted up.

I hope the mistletoe I had trimmed off the hack berry tree in front gets zapped by the freeze. One of the few ways to get after it according to my friendly arborist.

We'll see what is what when things warm up, maybe by sunday. A lot of gray and brown I'd guess.
