1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. Do it or else. Or else what? Or else.. erm.. well I don't really give a damn if you do it or not.

Well I really made this one up for tragerstreit's benefit originally. Well her and the Church as a whole.
It's part of a book cover for The Silly Chicken. It's a kid's book about a chicken in the Middle East somewhere. Presumably this chicken is silly, but I've never actually read the book.

BatBoy is a recurring icon of the Weekly World News, which was always a favorite periodical in my house growing up. It is still common to this day that whenever something is amiss or an object has disappeared at my dad's house, it is generally assumed that BatBoy has claimed it/done it/broken it/etc.
Arguably one of WWN's longest running characters, BatBoy is also one of the most obvious contrived people in the magazine. ...Or is he???

It's a gecko. Duh.
Actually most "gecko" images make terrible icons due to the detail involved in photographs or lithographs. That being said, there just aren't very many decent gecko-ish drawings out there. Doing a Google image search rarely fails this badly (in my opinion), so when I ran across this little guy, I saved him right away.

I [] my Cat! jimbo_the_gecko November 10 2008, 21:53:41 UTC
I [] my cat is.. well.. odd and controversial. It's from some spoof website I saw years ago that was taking Bonzai Cats to a new (more efficient) level.
The icon is also sort of making fun of people that make icons that say irritatingly sweet things like "I [heart] my cat" or "I [kiss] my piranha"
Of course if I weren't so allergic, I would kind of like a cubed cat. It would stack quite neatly in the closet whenever I was done playing with it for the day. I really wonder why more pets aren't cubed in this manner.

You know, I never thought of it that way. I'm kind of ashamed about that now, actually. Thanks for ruining my day. Bitch ( ... )
