I did enjoy BSG - a lot. We didn’t get it televised on my side of the Pond for a good long while. But during one long school summer holiday, the film (aka TV movie) was shown at a wee, local cinema for pennies during a Sci-Fi festival. Although at the time being more of a Starbuck fan, it was the interaction between the two that made the show for me. I didn't write any fanfic back then, but I did read at least one crossover fic with Blake's 7! I can't remember anything much about it now, except it was BSG that ended up in B7's universe, but do remember loving that fic back then!

There was also a great B7/ST crossover with the ST people in B7 universe, and later a great ST/B7 crossover where B7 end up on the Enterprise (and I think Blake threatened to have Gan turn Vila upside down and shake him, because Vila had been thieving), but that's about it.

Um, sorry, seem to have gone off topic there.

Apollo (the original) will be missed. May he RIP.

when the series was finally on tele -- I think it might have been on a cable channel, I did actually become more of a Starbuck fan. Oh, I remember, I saw the episodes after the A-Team was televised, I did actually prefer Starbuck (Dirk Benedict was fun), but I def. favoured Apollo as a written character and courtesy of the tv movie.
