Off on my travels.  Tomorrow, I go to Boston for the American Chemical Society National Meeting, returning next Wednesday.  Then leaving for Japan for the WorldCon the following Tuesday.

Thanks, Boston's all committee meetings and chemical smoffing, though I'll be presenting a paper (only my second forrmal ptrofessional one ever and it's not done yet!) on Careers in Analytical Chemistry on Tuesday. Japan will be a great adventure...

We will definitely have to get together and got to the Ark.

(checking my notes...) We're spending a couple days in Miyajima, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, Kyoto (9/8-11), Takayama, Kanazawa, and getting back to Tokyo on 9/15 the day before we leave. We mostly do Tokyo before the con.
