Urk. I wonder if there's any way to have that corrected. And why would no one have notified you about the sale?

Oh, I knew about the sale. And I was originally told that it would be published in 2003. But then it wasn't, and nobody ever told me what the new publication date was to be. It was only by happenstance that I found out that it had, in fact, been published on January 1st of this year.

The only way I can see to correct their screwing up my name on the cover is to point out the mistake to them and request that it be corrected should the book go into additional printings. Which is what I plan to do in as polite a fashion as possible.

Um, isn't the singular of soul = ame? So doesn't the title really translate to Savers of Souls. But then maybe it should be plural considering the plot. *g*

That and the lettering is a bit odd.

You're right. The title in French does translate to "Savers of Souls." But I titled it "Soulsaver" and not "Soulsavers," because it's the story of one soulsaver, not many, so the French title should have translated to "Saver of Souls." As a matter of fact, it was published in Spain as "El Salvador de Almas," which translated to "The Saver of Souls."

Not only is the lettering odd, but they got my name wrong. They dyslexisized James Stevens-Arce into James Arce-Stevens. :-)
