Wario Party 8: Do not like. The games themselves are OK, but not as good as previous editions. The host is just downright grating. The games on some boards last too long because of how frequently you can be sent back to start.

Ah, good to know. I haven't played any of the previous Mario Party games (GASP!), but I did read in the reviews on Amazon.com it wasn't as great as previous ones, but still fun in groups. Hrm.

Of course, having looked at the listing on Wal-Mart's site for available games that come with the package (it comes with six, and the buyer can choose which titles), I definitely would have suggested different ones. But then again, the idea was to get it for my Dad (yeaaaah, right, LOL), so I know she chose sports games so he could play, and possibly my brother as well. I mean, I would have picked My Sims, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and stuff like that, LOL. Ah well!
