Let's Support the Screenwriters!

I know some of you aren't too terribly concerned about the issue, but for the fellow writers out there, and those who love them (and if you love TV and movies, you probably love writers, whether you realize it or not), let's support the people who make everything we see on television possible. While the screenwriters are striking, they need to know

Having been a media whore all my life and always interested in pop culture, I strongly agree with what the writers are striking for (against?).

This is a great blog on the strike with a lot of linked articles and videos. They also have a petition (which I've signed).

I'm really glad the media is coming together to get the word out and that there is so much support. It's a shame it's come to this, but I hope it means positive changes will be made. :@ )

True, very true! I think the only way it'll ever be fair is if the screenwriters basically do all the production themselves and then air it on their own network that ensures fair compensation (and that isn't likely to happen.)
