Also, aside from the wind, a WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for the Cascades, for 1-2 *feet* of snow, possibly 3 feet in some spots, from noon Thursday through noon Friday. Snow levels will be around 3,000 feet through Thursday night, then drop to 1,000 feet Friday morning. Strong gusty winds will make for blowing snow.
I love that they emphasized that like it was some big deal. oh nose! 2 feet of snow! does that mean it's enough snow to cover both feet to you washington people?
bah. I'm being snarky don't mind me.
I still remember getting 3-4 feet of snow in a 6 hour period and then it snowed an addtional 3 feet over the next week.
and people freaking out over 2 feet and it makes me want to roll my eyes
You know, I was going to the grocery store today, and I hadn't planned on buying chocolate until I read your post. Then being holed up in the house during a stormy night with chocolate just sounded too good to pass up. :)
