My ex-wife used to love the first Jellyfish album. In spite of that I still like it, even though it makes me gudgingly admit that I like ELO which they bare some resemblance too--them and Cheap Trick which is the part of their sound that I like.
Holy crap, dude - you haven't responded to one of my posts in ages! How goes it? i like ELO, but while I have no fundamental problem with Cheap Trick, I've never gone out of my way to acquire any, either. But I think it'd be more accurate to say that all of the above have similarities to the Beatles than anything else. ;-)
