I love mornings like today. It's still early and quiet outside. The surf is really high. Even though I'm four blocks from the ocean, I can hear the crashing of the waves and smell the crisp salty air. I love the ocean. It reminds me how small we all are.

Thanks for the picture! Nice to see that he dressed up for the occasion. ha! I love the fact that his girlfriend is never in any photos with him. Or maybe you just never forward pictures of the two of them together because you know I don't want to have to see that. ha ha

I heard about Sharon Stone's faux pas at the awards ceremony (showing up after the king and queen arrived). The American press is all over her about it. Are they talking about it over there?

Yes, its in the press here too, but as they also mentioned here, I dont think the King cares so much about it. He is as "down to earth" as you can be as a King I guess.

Hi Jill, didn't say but the first message was me (Alyson) duh!!!!! The latest news on the Sharon Stone front in the papers here is that she arrived in Oslo with 3 suitcases and has left this evening with eight!!!!

Watched the show last evening on TV (live from Spektrum - brought back some great memories and towards the end caught a quick glimpse of Espen in the audience while Lionel Richie was singing!! - wish it had been 4 others on stage though!!) It said in the article that Hanneli (the girlfriend) was in attendance at the show, but it's rare that the press photograph them together.
