[For Lucifer]

[Continued from here.]

The feel of his mouth so close to her ear pulled a shiver from Jill and she turned a little into the warmth of Lucifer's body, tilting her head up slightly so that her mouth was closer to his. "Yes, well, there are certain people on this island I can't ask to service my needs," she echoed in a low, amused voice, pleased to ( Read more... )

I stood outside a while longer. Couldn't help it. Loved the atmosphere. (Gotta hand it to the Big Guy - he knows how to whitewash an island.) If it weren't for the danger of some rather uncomfortable frostbite, in fact, I'd've suggested we take a roll in the snow.

But eventually, my attention, and my considerable interest trickled inside. And so did I.

By the time he followed her into the cabin, Jill had shed her jacket and scarf and had managed to start a small fire in the fireplace, enough that she no longer felt like she would freeze to death even inside. There was something oddly compelling about his interest in the snow, but she said nothing, just stepped closer to, reaching around him to shut the door.

The motion wasn't meant to be teasing and the fact that it brought them so close together, her hips pushing up against his, that was just a bonus.

Carefully toeing off her shoes, Jill's hands slid up the front of him and she said, "You're overdressed."

'By my exacting standards, darling,' I said, suddenly charmed by her proximity, 'So are you.' I swept off my overcoat, dropping it onto the floor behind me as I reached for her waist - giving it a tug and completing the circuit she'd fallen into. 'Now. Where were we? Ah, yes...'

And in an instant, I'd disposed with conversation and locked my mouth with hers.

As he tugged her forward, Jill's hands slid up and around his neck, her arms snaking around him and she leaned up to meet his mouth, making a soft noise into the kiss. It had to say something that in the time since David had disappeared, the only physical interaction she'd had was with Lucifer, but if it did say something, she didn't care. She didn't want to know.

Stepping backward, Jill tugged him with her, teeth scraping his lower lip as she pulled him closer to the direction of her bed. That was her ultimate destination, but really, anywhere away from the door would do.
