I guess I just find it hard to believe that of the more than 200 people planning to go, what with Affirmations being a central hub of the glbtq community in metro Detroit, no one said "Oh, I have a van and can fit

ah man, that sucks. the nearest event around here is in Fresno at 10:30 a.m. the driving isn't a problem, but the timing is horrible.

basically, I got off work about an hour ago, which means that I'll still be groggy when the protest hour rolls around. I might head up there anyways, but I won't be there for the beginning.

they've been protesting almost nonstop since the election, and gotten downright ugly at times. I bet the one in Los Angeles tomorrow (er, today) will be huge.
