Game wasn't as fun as last time. Nothing much happened, our seats were kind of suck, and we went with dad's brother-in-law and nieces. We had dinner at Hockeytown, though, and Tigers won, so yay.

Beat FF8. ( Cut not for spoilers, but for your feelings. Too many of you actually liked this game. )

video games, all your dreams are dead, of local interest, half-assed reviews, pix

heh. cathedrals always confuse me, because I can't help thinking, "that's actually a fairly impressive.... (*psst... you're an atheist, remember?) waste of some poor, delusional parishioners' money"

and the cereal..... Innuit Tested, Mother Approved?

but you can see how it happened. Animal Planet (or their corporate owners) give Kellogg's a shitload of money for some stupid television tie-in cereal, and then the brainless marketing machine takes over ("who are they?" "they're sorta like PBS, only without Sesame Street or the philharmonic orchestra" "okay, so slap something furry on a box of puffed grain")

what's weird is that it's the same basic concept as the Panda Puffs or the Gorilla Munch (with cartoon animals, not real ones) sold by the organic "we donate our profits to Greenpeace" cereal company, but somehow it all goes horribly wrong XD

The whole draw/junction/skill building thing was so clumsy and tedious

May I worship your words of wisdom? I agree with the majority of your points. :)
