But first I want to mention this book, The Time Traveler's Wife which was recommended to me, and rightfully so, considering my apparent time travel fetish. heh. yeah, I guess having hills and mountains and bumpy terrain does sorta rock. around here, on a clear day, the Sierra Nevada looks positively awesome ^_^

I guess you must be directly below Saddleback where you are right now, which means you're too close to actually get a good view of it, but from 50 miles away (i.e., my mother's house in San Pedro), it's one of the more prominent features to the east.
