Interesting. My kiddo just turned two this week. He's usually in daycare and they have a very regular napping schedule that is after lunch. They lunch at 11:45-ish and the kids are all asleep between 12:30 and 12:45, with varying wake-up times, but they always wake them up by 3pm.
But then on the weekends or days off with me, he will often skip lunch and maybe nurse to sleep in my arms around 11:30 or noon, and then be more hungry when he wakes up between 2 and 3pm.
But then, if we get the kiddo in bed and asleep before 9pm we worry that he's sick - that night owl most often doesn't crash until 10 or 10:30pm. Kinda sucky for us married adult folk, but I figure it is kind of like "reverse cycling" where he wants to hang out with his favorite people in the evenings, when he doesn't see us during the day.

At least, that's what I tell myself.
