Rory. I just love him. I mean, there's much more to his character and I liked him instantly. I cried at the end of "Cold Blood" and that has never actually happened to me with a character aside from Rose or the Doctor in DW. *sigh* I agree with you - a guy should have been the next companion and Rory would have been great for it.
As for your demands (I feel like I'm a hostage or something - might not be a bad thing in this situation lol), there will be more soon and no worries, there will be more Rose (I love Rose, of course there will be more of her!).

In that look he’d seen something he hadn’t remembered seeing in her eyes before - it told him that she wasn’t surprised.
Oh this this this. So true =( A lot of post-JE fics have Rose obviously upset about the situation, but so few address this, which I think would be a huge point. She must have a pretty deep abandonment issue at that point. I can only wonder how that would play out with TenToo and their relationship.
Thank you :) I'm not sure if anyone else had brought it up, but I almost instantly thought of Rose when we met Rory for the first time. So loyal and caring. Soon after that is when I started thinking of the Rose/Rory thing. I could not get it out of my mind!
So you saw it too! Yay! I mean, I could see it as plain as day on her face. It's also why I can't be mad at Rose (like some fics kinda imply that I've read before). She just sorta looked...defeated because here she jumps dimensions for this man/alien just to be dropped off again. Yes, I know the Doctor loves her. Yes, I know it's for the best...but how was she supposed to feel you know? Rose was upset during JE, but her look also just said, "Why am I not surprised."
As for how that will play off with Ten2 and their relationship...well, it's actually something I have on the back burner in a future fic :)
