Depending on how good your library is about policies and enforcing good library behavior, you might try talking to the main/circulation/reference desk and ask for a staff or faculty member to help quiet other people who are noisy around you. Where I work, we have strict policies about different floors, and even have different staff members walk the halls to make sure that patrons/students are doing what they are asked to do (ie be quiet, no food, etc.). Worth a try if it's really bothering you. If not, try some instrumental music. That's how I got through my undergrad years in the library.

Now I'm off to watch the Doctor Who Movie that came in just now. *squee* Jealous again? :D

It's not very good *sigh* and this was a public library so...yeah. I love my city but the libraries and bookstores (or lack thereof) make me very sad). So I actually did your Step 2 - cranked Social Network soundtrack off Pandora on my phone.

And hush you!! lol I ordered it too but since I ordered it with the Christmas special they're coming together :p

That reminds me that I should really order the newest Christmas special as I read something while doing the newsletter that some of the extras might be cut on a Series 6 boxset. Sigh. Whatever.

I watched the Movie with the commentary with McGann, McCoy, and Briggs and it was rather amusing. Didn't miss the shoe squee part though. Oh! I now found an icon for that too! :D

Honestly, now you're just making a mess with the jealousy!paint. And I'm not cleaning it up. *shakes head* But you just...continue on... go ahead.
