lol those were/are my thoughts exactly. Don't get me wrong, I do like Amy and I loved Amelia and the beginnings of Amy...and then in The Eleventh Hour when she wouldn't look away when he was changing (okay, I wouldn't either), I got a bit like "Hmmm..." And then that episode where she kissed him I wanted to smack her...not only because it was the Doctor she was kissing but because she had Rory waiting for her!

And yeah, there's a lot of, "Well, Rose left Mickey." But they weren't engaged and their relationship looked more like a friendship.

Sorry, this turned into a rant lol but yes, I like life lessons when they're like this :)

IKR?? There's a big difference between two teenagers who are living separately and just dating, and two twenty-somethings who are getting married within 24 hours.

I LOVE how you described Rory's feeling during his first trip. I was sooo mad at Amy for discarding him so easily! And I hate that people go...oh Rose did the same with Mickey, but it is not the same, I mean, Rose and Mickey were close but there were not about to get married!!

I love the voice you've given 11th. cause it is perfect, so him. I can't wait for more!!

And I'm with you on how Amy just "forgot" about him. A lot of people might use the whole Rose did the same with Mickey, but Amy wasn't very forthcoming about her relationship with Rory from the first place (she wouldn't call him her boyfriend) whereas Rose didn't hide Mickey. And her going away was more of wanting to see something else and be away from things for awhile (she had the intention of coming back) whereas Amy...I don't know.

I'm glad that 11 sounds like 11! I like to keep characters in character even if the story doesn't sound like it could happen :)

Yeah - I wasn't planning on bring back any other nostalgia apart from that pertaining to Rose, but the thought (and mental image) of Amy being so angry with him brought back memories of Donna. So it serves the purpose of making his nostalgia and just general memory overwhelm him for all areas.
