The Doctor had set the Tardis to materialize somewhere closer to Rose’s present. Instead she hurled him across the floor hitting his head against the rough coral and wound up somewhere completely different than where he wanted to be.

Sitting up and feeling a bit woozy in the process, he massaged the back of his head that hit against the cavernous

So in love with your flashbacks! Can't wait to see what happens next! I love the hurt and love in Rose's past that you have already hit on, so many stories forget about what made Rose who she is. Glad your looking at that!

I'm very glad you're enjoying the flashbacks :D This section wasn't in the original story, but in reading comments and re-reading it, I got nostalgic for more younger Rose *sighs*

Yay so glad you added this. ooh mythinks Doctor is just a little jealous already. Good ol Mickey though. You have to love him and his whole character arc

Thanks! I'm very happy with it. After reading comments I was just in need of more young Rose. And Mickey is one of those great characters that I didn't like at first but as he grew stronger I really came to appreciate and love him :)
