I don't think they were meant as references.
Cuz it would make sense that Claudia would know french ( being the brainy girl she is) and the jacket is too subtle.

Yeah, I thought it would be a long shot. I guess I see references everywhere lol But also my boyfriend had told me that the creator or someone of Warehouse 13 was a big Doctor Who fan. I'll ask him to show me proof. lol
