Ah, one of those religious type funerals, eh? Not that I'm up-to-date on that type of ritual, but I've had to go to one for my grandfather and all I remember was being bored. It may sound harsh but I was also on a lot of medications at the time that kept me rather numb. So far, the most powerful type of funeral I've been to was the military service I went to for my other grandfather. I mean, it was devastating when he was rolled down to the morgue with an American flag over his body, but seeing my now-deceased grandmother receive his flag...god, it's still heart-breaking. *hugs* to you. I can only imagine how hard both of these events must have been for you. *more hugs ( ... )

Yeah it was religious. I'm not religious - and I was hardly thinking about the rituals when I was there. Even though I'm not religious I know the prayers and such by heart so it was all just automatic. It all broke my heart.

And I do read a lot :) Seems like I'm always doing something, but I just love it.

I like Tumblr for the pretty photos :)

I wasn't around much when you posted about your cousin. I'm so sorry...for your loss and for the fact that I wasn't here for you.

And it's definitely to be expected. Take as much time as you need to be sad...there's nothing wrong with that. *hugs*

Sounds like you have a wonderful Erick! Here's a *hug* for him for being so adorably sweet to you!

Don't worry about it :) Thank you for the condolences. I'm still blah and sad - but I'm okay.

Oh also, I didn't see the top of this post til after I posted my comment-- (some friend I am, huh?) and I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss. You're very lucky to have such a supportive man to lean on.

Oh, and for the record-- there's noting wrong with having a girl crush, (I'm a Christina Hendricks gal myself)and Billie Piper is a gorgeous woman. :P
