This is a little gem. I love the way you take it slowly and really go into their minute-by-minute responses to each other. The journal was restrained and very touching. I've read many similar stories but this is one of the best, so full of their love for one another and the tenderness and insecurity that involves.

I'm glad you're enjoying the slowness of their story because I hadn't realized that it's the sixth chapter and they're still in her apartment. heh. I can't help it though - I can't go quick with this one. It's him and it's her and they just need their time. It's my first TenII/Rose fic and I can't hurry it - so I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Hi! I just read the whole fic so far, and I really love it!
TenII/Rose is so lovely and you write it very well, analyzing their feelings as they are trying to realize what's happening to them. Bittersweet and hopeful at the same time.
Now I can't wait for the next chapter! :)

I'm so glad you're loving it so far! I'm having trouble writing this story only because it's new territory - the Doctor facing and owning up to his feelings. But I'm glad that it's coming off as hopeful because that's what it I fully intend it to be.

You shouldn't worry, you're doing a great job! I haven't seen many fics that take such a close look on the Doctor's feelings, and I find it both interesting and enjoyable.
Also I have a soft spot for TenII. :)

This is very sweet! It is totally my head canon that TenToo has so much more empathy than Ten does - I'm glad you mention this here. (I think we see that in the TARDIS and on BWB, where he is basically the only one concerned about Rose's reaction - Donna, Ten and even Jackie don't really seem sensitive to her at all).

One little thing:

The sheets on the bed where a simple baby blue.

It wasn't even something that I planned out really - he just came off as being more empathetic than Ten. It makes sense of course. I'd imagine that TenII sees things much differently than Ten would - becoming human and having opportunities open up to you will do that. And come to think about it, you're right. He's the one that understands what's happening with her in the end - but he stands right there with her and doesn't run away. Those days are over [in my canon].
