You should! They really are fun adventures and it is interesting to see how they tried their best to create the past and new worlds for the show back before the help of technology :D Also, great lines from the Doctor hehehe. My favorite is from the Aztecs arc, where he says, "I made some cocoa and got engaged" lol
I'm working on the First Doctor (got half-way through "The Daleks" arc, which made me like the First Doctor more than the first series. Seriously, cavemen?) but I'm a little afraid of The Romans. However, form your pic, I'm not as worried as before. Whenever I get to it, I'm sure I'll be ranting. :)
But at least you went backwards and not forwards!
GWEN! (Sorry, always have to say that when I watch "The Unquiet Dead".) Alright episode but I prefer "The Unicorn and the Wasp" when you talk of meeting a literary figure. Loved the ending.
lol yeah the cavemen thing lol I tread lightly on Classic Who, finding them more fun than anything. The Romans was enjoyable for me heh.
Yeah, I loved how they met Agatha Christie in The Unicorn and the Wasp heh - but I enjoyed seeing Rose in the Victorian Era :D But you're right, as far as authors go, I'd pick Agatha at #1 :D
It's been years since I've seen them, (unfortunately) but I think that just about anything that Leela is in (with Four) is a winner. There was one where my favourite savage is dressed much as Rose was in the Unquiet Dead. (I think it might have been the Talons of Weng Chiang ) There's something about the Doctor having to keep telling his female companion not to kill anything that just really made me happy.
Far as New Who goes, he's not an author, but may I weigh in with a vote for van Gogh? I think that was the best of season 5.
All the historic figures, including sleazy WS, made the shows.
I wanted Rose to wear that blue dress in Tooth and Claw but we never got to see her in it. Billie Piper looked gorgeous in the outfit for unquiet dead. I'd love to wear that but don't think I have the figure for it lol.
Oh me too! I was thinking to myself, yay! we get to see Rose in something period...but nope. Took that away from us *grumble* Billie is such a gorgeous woman and I loved the look on Nine's face when it came to seeing her in the outfit heh. And awww! I doubt that's true!

That first one looks like lots of fun. It would be great if the new!who went to ancient times more.
