Yes! I know just what you mean, those lines that you can't figure it out, somehow. Wow, I'm flattered to have one, they're quite rare. *smiles*
I didn't know whether to feel more sorry for Bruce or for the "good" side of Harvey, for lack of a better way to put it. ,/i>
Me neither...Harv really stole the story on this one.
Is there really only one more part to go? *is sad about that.*
Aww, thank you. :) Only one more part here, but more stories down the line still. Thanks so much for the feedback, you made my day (and since I just woke up that's ddefinitely saying something!)

Finally, I think, finally I'm allowing myself to feel very, very badly for Harvey. Earlier on, even with the strong hints at the duality in his personalities and the expectations Two-Face brought out anyway, I still held Harvey accountable on his own. Whether or not it made sense to. But it's easier now to see the man Bruce was friends with, the man who tried to do the right things, at odds with what was still essentially himself but who, now separate from him, makes Harvey more complete as that man and simultaneously more fractured and sympathetic. I don't know what I'm saying anymore. Basically, even Harvey embracing this splitting of personas seems very sad to me, somehow, even if it makes sense that he would. Last safe place in the world. Ow. Ow, my heart T_T
I don't know how you managed such a reasonably swift resolution and still made it pack such a devastating blow. You're just.. you're a really, really, really good freaking writer. I'm going to re-read this, as I tend to do with ( ... )

I have to admit I did not expect to like harvey more once he became Two-Face. I was very surprised to discover that he was actually relieved to have everything out in the open (so to speak)--it's like coming out of the closet for him...in a couple of different ways, I suppose.
I don't know how you managed such a reasonably swift resolution and still made it pack such a devastating blow. -_- I've discovered I'm a poor angst writer because when I hit the angst I mostly just want to get it over with as quickly as possible. Thus the rather swift pacing in this arc, LOL. DaMo is always having to force me to slow down and add some detail ( ... )

Bruce in Arkham is always a sad thing, and might hit close to home. I'd guess there's a little bit of madness that swirls around the Bat, and that's why he needs Alfred and Clark, bless them.
You *should* write a fic from Jim's POV!
Finally, I like the imagery of Bruce's last safe place being the cave now. Or does he add Clark to that list? :)

There is always something rather creepy about Bruce in Arkham, isn't there? He seems to fit in all too well sometimes...
You *should* write a fic from Jim's POV!
He's very tempting...the ultimate limited third person, almost aware of everything but not quite...
We'll see if Alfred and Clark can get him out of the cave in the last chapter. There's no Dickie-bird to help him out of this one! :(

I was so certain that Harvey would not get to me but oh, the way you wrote him. :/ So utterly helpless and defeated.
Goshdarnit, times like these make me wish I knew how to write a good comment on fic. :p This was brilliant, Jen.

LOL, actually, just telling me that Harvey got to you is high praise indeed! He grew on me as well. :) I'm glad you've enjoyed!
