Bruce tried to look unthreateningly predatory. He wasn't sure it was working.

LOL

Poor Bruce, he can look totally harmless or extremely dangerous, but he can't mix the two well. :)

Dear God Woman I Love You!!! That was sooo far beyond perfect I don't know where to begin.

Just your characterisations of Bruce trying to be really gentle with Clark and Clark completly missing it cause he thinks its a joke, that whole chat part had be in stitches! loved it and how Bruce tries to convince Clark to take him seriously...not sure t really worked.... ;P

and the ending was beautiul, with Bats and Sups finally coming to something like an understanding. you made Kal seem more human with that whole bit about Kyrptonite hurting him.

just wonderful. please get the next chapter up soon, I really want to know how their second date goes (could we possibly just have a little bit of smut...just maybe?)*begs shamelessly*

The Bat/Supe relationship had been lagging behind the Bruce/Clark one, and I wanted to get them moving along to trust again. I'm glad it worked!

The second date should be up this weekend, and includes kissing and some smuttiness. Clark needs (and gets) some convincing. :)

(though I do beg to differ on this blasphemy about Superman being uninteresting. Hmph.)

I would say it as, "He's not bland...he's just drawn that way." :) Writers just don't seem to know what to do with him sometimes.

*g* Such little bits of realism like this really make your stories.

Who knew I would one day be complimented for putting my extensive experience with filling out forms to use in a fic? :)

I particularly enjoyed how he has trouble projecting his Superman voice when he's in his "Clark" costume.

He doesn't have as much practice with it as Batman does, I suspect.

frankly, Bats kinda deserved it for putting the tracking device on their communicator in the first place and secondly, it gave Superman that brain thing that canon doesn't always give him credit for having.I debated it and decided it would finally just be too OOC for Batman to not at least try to keep a tracker on Superman. And movie Superman should be a frigging super-genius beyond all belief...after all, he spent years there in the Fortress getting ( ... )

Date! Yay. Jason was cute, and apologizing to the figure! So adorable.

Wearing purple suits should be an instant sign of being evil. Just, no.

Bruce is about as subtle as a sledgehammer with his date. I do like their chatnames, so funny.

Glad Superman doesn't think Bruce is doing the bad stuff.

Poor Supes, can't get near the last of his home planet.

Loving this so much.

Between Luthor and the Joker, I think DC agrees with you.

Glad Superman doesn't think Bruce is doing the bad stuff.

Yeah, I realized that I hadn't made that clear yet and I didn't want people to worry that he might be fretting about it. He knows he has no particularly good reason to trust Bruce, he just does. :)

Yay! I'm evil! You know me...what are the odds the boys can get all the way to bed right after their first kiss? Nil. Second and third? Um, I wouldn't count on it. Fourth? Okay, maybe around then. *grin*

Hm, you have a point. One-offs are much more likely to get some action in them right away. No time to lose, after all. :)
