And I have no idea quite what those answers are! >_< It was something of a meditative exercise for me as well...just seeing where the words went. It stayed very slippery, which was strange and yet fun. :)

I love the tone of this, the feeling, like a metronome gradually speeding up towards collapse. It's as hypnotic as the cards in his hands. Very, very well done!

Thank you so much! It was an exercise in just letting the words and phrases about the game lead me around...the fact that my instinct was to title it "Suicide King" is a hint about where I think it leads, but there's no definite one answer, I don't think...

I came up with at least three or four different possible stories behind this moment and was never quite sure which it was. Bruce simply wasn't telling. ;) Pieces like that drive me kind of crazy but I enjoy them as well!

Thank you! That rhythm was really what drove this piece rather than a story...not my usual approach but it was an interesting challenge. :)

Ooh, this was really neat. Reminds me so much of Batman: RIP yet this is infinitely times better than the crap we're getting from Grant Morrison, which is a bit surprising (and very disappointing).
