I'm amazed and the ease with which you shift the mood of the story, from the cheerfulness of Christmas to the thrill of passion, from a peaceful family gathering to a raging battle, from a sense of power and safety to uneasiness and anguish. Brilliant!

I'm in awe of your talent.

Aw, thank you! This one is kind of all over the place, isn't it? *grins* And I always feel so terrible for Clark in this one especially...it's like h/c but there's no one who can even understand enough to give comfort...

Of course these two in this arc like this carol. It's so very appropriate for them.

I love the juxtaposition of having Bruce in the 'real' world being the one aware of the other reality's memories, and Clark in the Absolute Power world being the one--after this chapter--aware of the real memories. The poignancy of his choosing to believe in his love for Bruce above and beyond everything he's ever thought was right is very powerful.
