Chee :D I liked this, it's cheered me up after todays budget report! Oh Bruce, he's such a sweetheart to Clark sometimes. Keeping the channel open like that and coming through for Clark when he needed him. And the humming! *Dies!*

And that woman was QUITE horrible >:P I didn't like her, though I don't suppose that you expected us to!

Anyway, another wonderful chapter where I especially loved the fact that Clark was unhappy about the insinuations about getting rid of batman- (he's such a doll at heart)!

Anyway, loving you more everytime I read your stuff- B

I had never thought of the two of them doing duets through the receiver! It made me giggle when writing it, so I'm glad it worked for you!

And Waller's a terrible person! (I love her, but she's terrible!) She added a lot of energy to the story when she showed up!

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Hee hee, thanks! Waller and Lois were a lot of fun to write together--the plot's been giving me fits but it's a fun challenge. :)

Oh yeah, no lingering repercussions *at all,* Clark.

Man, Waller is a stone-cold, brass-balled bitch. I'd almost like her, if she wasn't willing to assassinate vigilantes.

Waller is awesomely fun to write--you just have to imagine that every other character is inferior to her and to be manipulated, and she rolls from there. :)

*pats overly stoic Clark*

Oh, gods @(*^%$^ damn!! O_O

*shudders* I hate Waller with a passion. That woman is sleaze poured into high heels. X_x Thank goodness Clark checked the beeper for bugs. Seriously, who would trust that woman farther than he... uh, *Lois* could throw her?

But Bruce is coming to Metropolis! :D *dances* I really hope things smooth over with them, and gods, it was good seeing them communicating at least. The humming was the best. ^_^ What tune was it, I wonder? *ponders*

Excellent chapter. ^_^

Ha! Okay, now I just have to write Clark stumbling over the phrase "wouldn't trust this person as far as I could throw them" someday. :)

And the image of Clark putting Waller into orbit is just a nice thing to wake up to. :)

The humming was the best. ^_^ What tune was it, I wonder? *ponders*

*coughs* It was what happened to be on my iPod at the moment I was writing that, what was Poison's "Talk Dirty to Me," lol. Which was so very ridiculous that I decided to leave it open to reader interpretation!

I don't think I've ever heard anyone described as "built like a refrigerator", but I knew the instant you said who it was! Amanda Waller is an incredibly interesting character, and this plot got about fifty billion times more complicated with her involved.

I hope Bruce figures out what's going on with Clark--and that Clark snaps out of his denial! No long term effects my &$#.

Also, the humming might be the cutest thing ever.

Fantastic update!

*snickers* Thank you! I was going to list her among the characters/pairings, but I wanted her to be a surprise...

She was really fun to write! Difficult, but I just had to wrap my head around overweening megalomania and an enjoyment of making people jump. :)

The humming made me giggle, so I'm glad you liked it!
