The poofles almost seem like, I dunno, ya know when you stitch up an outfit and puffs of fabric pop out? That's what it looks like... All over. In extremes. Or maybe it's Kryptonian Mothballs.
Oh, once he's reintegrated with Clark it magically changed back to his old outfit. Come to think of it, I'm...really not sure how that works, lol! But it works narratively, certainly. :)
S-so pretty.. :3 Wait. ARE SCANS 1, 3, 6 (ohmagahdpretty) AND 7 BRYAN HITCH'S WORK? *flail* Or good lord, the sculpted faces and panel layouts certainly look like his...
And re: scan #3. Oh. Oh Clark. THERE IS SUCH A THING AS TOO MUCH ROUCHING D: Listen to the diplomat imploring you not to change the uniform. If I saw that when I was looking to the JLA for comfort, I would immediately seek it elsewhere after begging the heavens for my own blindness -_- (Even if the attractive neckline makes up for a little..)

You're good! Yes, he's listed as the penciller--one of five or so in one issue--in the credits.

*grin* It's...uh...it would be fine if not for the...white stuff! Maybe? Though Mina points out that the insignia looks like of like a boob window with the coloring... >_
And those ruffles on Supes' outfit! *snicker* Sorry, Kal, those don't exactly inspire confidence, you know?
I did like the way that all of Bruce's anger and violence transferred to the Brucie half of him, showing that the Bat is really just a construct that he uses to channel it. *two thumbs up*
Isn't that awful? Honestly, I yelped and almost dropped the book. I totally hadn't seen it coming.

Oh knooooow. Oh, Kal. *sighs*

Mark Waid really set my ideas of Batman up here--I know it's argued in canon sometimes that Batman is real and Bruce just a construct, but I've never been able to buy that.
Eee, I so love this series. I'll get part 3 up soon, I hope!

'Brucie' is a construct.
'Bruce' is not.
Yeah, Eyeless Batman is a creepy but effective way of showing us how Batman is just fading away without Bruce, just like being so quiet and with no drive to fight or anything.
Seems like all the JLA members who are screwed up before the split are relatively normal to a real splitting of their personalities.

1) Why is Clark, like, 60 years old?
2) WTF are those ruffles? Apparently Krypton is off to the disco.
3) Eyeless Batzarro = cool. Eyeless Batman = AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

But I am upset at the stupid looking outfit on Supes. How did that arc turn out - how did Supes abandon that dopey outfit?

And Bruce is rather scary.

Bruce is scary without Batman, indeed. Poor guy. He manages to be terribly woobie too, in the next set. I have to get those up soon!

That is just... too scary for words. O_o
