*Loved* this!! Babs is the ultimate fangirl. :p It's almost hard to believe she can be so calculating at such a young age, but it's clear that the girl is an outright genius! ^_^ Go Babs!
I loved the way she went back and forth on the forum... even bringing the Nazis into it! Isn't there a rule about that somewhere? That if a thread goes on long enough, Nazis will eventually be brought up? *shrug*
Also loved that she's brilliant enough to not be too staunch in her beliefs about Superman. It was great to see her viewing things from all sides, and even coming to other realizations after watching the video more closely.
And the home situation... Man, she's *already* got Bat-sized issues! :( The thought that her dad might not come home one night was just heart breaking.
Oh, and I have a Cthulu plushie, too! ^_^ *hugs Babs*
Great addition to the series! ^_^

She...might be something of an Ender Wiggin clone here. Probably smarter than in the original canon, but I decided to have some fun with her...

There is! Godwin's Law! :) She breaks it on purpose! :)

She's got her bias, but I do like that she's not closed-minded about Superman (thank goodness!)

Imagine being a cop's daughter in Gotham...an honest cop's daughter in Gotham. Man, she must be terrified all the time ( ... )

Yay for plushie Cthulhu! He will devour your brain with cute!
I'm pretty sure I've punched up Barbara's intelligence insanely, but I couldn't help it, she wanted to be a super-genius here. :) She was fun to write...*plans on writing more*

I love her being so bright at eight years old, too. Naturally she won't fit in with other kids her age but the Net can help!
Funny how in American society, beauty (acting) and brawn/physical ability (athletics) are rewarded handsomely with money and attention, but brains are often derided and dismissed, and you certainly aren't paid very much usually as a writer/educator/historian/intellectual!
She is a Batgirl all the way, but is picking up on Superman's response that the Green K. No doubt eventually she'll figure out the boys' little game! :)

I didn't really mean to make her so bright, but it seemed to suit her somehow. And yeah, although she's WAY brighter than I am you can see some hints of the fact that growing up a bookworm isn't always the easiest thing. :)

It's going to take her quite a while but yes, I think she's going to be one of the only people (maybe her father) who figures it out...
Thanks so much for the comment!

Though I wish I like algebra when I learning in fifth grade. I mean why are you substituting very good numbers with letters, I say.

She's definitely working on the bat-schitzophrenia early. :)
Actually, algebra was the only math subject I could ever enjoy...something about the balancing everything out appealed to me...
Glad you liked Barbara! *pets the redhead*
