Mar 08, 2007 11:03

Lord of the Rings Online has been patched and is massively buggy, so I have time to post a little Golden Age fun while my guest and husband curse the fates and rail at cruel, cruel game patches.

You know, I'm really starting to think almost all the Golden and Silver Age Superdickery comes mainly from the Lois Lane comics.  Because for every example ( Read more... )

Mmm, this is a nice little tale! It shows Clark's caring. The poor guy rarely gets a chance to relax! He needs playboy Bruce. :)

He most certainly does! LOL, the idea that Clark needs Bruce to teach him how to relax...but I do think Clark is likely to be just as much a workaholic as Bruce is often portrayed, simply because he'd feel he had to be, you know?

He does! He can be a real workaholic if he isn't careful. They really both need to keep each other...uh, relaxed. :)

I LOVE the idea of actual Alex Ross roaming around in Superman comics. It's kind of like the Stan Lee Meets...stories that Marvel puts out. Maybe Alex Ross is so attached to the Silver Age because he lived in it? ; )

Superman: I must mention my Telescopic Vision in bold two panels in a row! Just in case you forgot about it!

Thanks for posting these!

Have I mentioned the Telescopic Vision? Telescopic Visison is very useful!

Clark is also known as Redundant Exposition Man here. As well. In addition.

I must point out that going to space shrinks your clothes. Man, is that a dainty cape! D and I think it looks kind of.. not very fashionable.

Supes is so nice here! I love how he cares so much about his neighbores, and is constantly busy trying to help everyone. Not Superdickery at all! Samaritan would be proud of you, Clark!. But the super-everything has to go. Super imagination? whaaaa?

Btw, I'm back, safe and sound! I'll write to you tomorrow! :)

The super-imagination totally cracks me up. All right, Clark, whatever you super-say with your super-voice...

Eeeee, Mina, I found scans of Clark with a teeny little porn 'stache! Silver Age porn 'stache! It's so very wrooooong...
