FINALLY was able to watch the premiere of The Walking Dead this evening, and all I have to say is YES. I have a new show to watch.

So far, my only quibble is I thought that these fan-made opening credits were far more interesting than the show's actual one.

I may have been doing my not-so-subtle-I'm-plugging-my-ears-and-averting-my-eyes sort of thing, like when they were all taking a shower together because I was expecting a zombie lumbering down the corridor to sneak up and attack them when their defenses were down. I'VE SEEN HORROR MOVIES, I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. And then that kid wandered off when they were having a heart-to-heart, I was petrified that kid would get eaten.

THEY KILLED THE PONY. I was wondering if horsemeat was good enough for zombies. APPARENTLY, YES.

SRSLY I was so prepped for the AHHHH moment at all times. Like when he's lighting the matches in the stairwell one by one i kept expecting zombie to appear as they lit but THEY DIDN'T!! that was brilliant
