You could always go old-skool and look up the Jeremy Brett TV version or the Basil Rathbone/Nigel Bruce movies...

LOTS of Classic Who, dude! Not sure quite what floats your boat right now, but if there's a R1 DVD of it, Netflix probably has it. (I think "The Mind Robber" and "The Aztecs" are on my queue right now, but I like my Who b&w and cerebral.)

I've seen "The Mind Robber", but not "The Aztecs"! And DUDE, you read my mind because I *JUST* started looking up some Classic Who!

I love you so hard.

Oh, and there's this TV series from the UK about this guy who time travels in a police box and goes on adventures throughout the universe. I can't remember the name of it, but I've seen a few eps and it's pretty good. I think you'll like it. I'll find out the name and get back to you.

WAIT.

Bill & Ted, right? I thought that took place in San Dimas, but I suppose it's easy to mix up the UK and Southern California.

I second Let the Right One In. See that one before the new one comes out next month!

Also, if you haven't, check out Ink. Its a weird, interesting small budget film/

They have loads of classic Who. They also have the original first two seasons of Star Trek. And Daria. And the Addams Family. And Farscape.

Uh, and they have movies too.

My top fave films:

Singin' In the Rain
A Hard Day's Night
Auntie Mame (1958, NOT the musical version)
That Thing You Do!
Twin Dragons
La Belle et Le Bete (Cocteau, 1946)
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Wayne's World
Bye Bye Birdie (obviously the 1963 original, and not the tv-remake)
Bedazzled (Cooke/Moore, not the Elizabeth Hurley version)
Mary Poppins
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
The Music Man (the one w/ Shirley Jones, not Matthew Broderick)
The Wizard of Oz
Gone With the Wind
Help!
Bill Cosby: Himself

I would hope you'd be familiar with most of these, of course. Then again, I AM an old fart, and you're not, so you might not have even HEARD of some of these. *shocked face*

Your hopes have been answered. I've seen most (and own about half) of those, but not Auntie Mame! I shall add that one and a few others!

THANK YOU.
