Yeah Dollhouse, I do not get the interest in that show.

I don't get the interest either. I don't get the interest in many shows that others have, and my squick level is usually pretty high, but yeah. Dollhouse totally goes above and beyond that threshold.

What is the squick that gets to you in that show? I was more just bored by the concept/plot.

Just the premise. They wipe their minds and these "actives" (I think that's the term they use) have no control over themselves. It's a lot of things, but it all sort of leads back to that. The S4 finale of Who certainly hit that.

Also, after the first episode, I was so bored seeing Eliza Dushku's blank face.

Y'know, I enjoyed mocking Dollhouse for awhile.

But that wore off.

1) Daily Show?! *is jealous* Have fun!

2) Dollhouse - yeah, I couldn't get into it, though I tried. I kept saying I was done, but I stuck it out til the end of the season. I never saw the unaired episode that supposedly made everything amazing. I dunno what to do about this season - I don't want to watch, but they keep trying to give me reasons that I should. Namely Alan Tudyk, which is the only reason I kept up watching last season. Now they're adding Summer Glau and Ray Wise. So now I'm torn.

I watched the first couple and had no interest because it didn't feel like something Joss did. Then I watched the one where everyone was like 'OMG FOR ALL YOU HATERS OUT THERE, WATCH THIS EPISODE AND YOU'LL BE CONVINCED'. I think it was "Man on the Street" or something? It did nothing for me. I tried this show twice and that was it.
