You know the Doctor just happened across the floozies some time in his fourth regeneration, and when they wouldn't put a foot in the Tardis (because hey, they're 18th century floozies and the syphilis makes scary things scarier), he decided to just keep coming back for visits with each regeneration.

Glad you had fun! If you end up in a conversation with GDL, you can always ask about his music; Blue Gillespie are writing a new album. You could also ask about his upcoming panto (I think he's Prince Charming in Cinderella) or about studying philosophy and psychology. At the very least, these won't be the questions he usually gets. :P
