We can't wait to see Up.

Thanks for the eye roll on your "spoiler" cut. It was a bloody press release! How can that "spoil" anything! The BBC wants people to talk about this.

I swear, some people should just stay off the Internet.

It was quite good! Something for kids, something for adults. Pixar usually keeps a brilliant balance between the two so that anyone could enjoy their films.

I forget what it was ages ago that I didn't put underneath a cut and I got a couple of really snooty replies saying that I spoiled them. Since then, I've just been putting anything and everything under a cut. With some added snark, of course. How people are going to remain unspoiled for however long it is still S5 is beyond me.

I'm avoiding even going to the main Doctor Who comms or the message boards. My flist is bad enough!

Pixar makes perfect films. Their record is astounding, especially when you look at some of the other popular computer-animated films from other companies.

They didn't cancel production. They're re-releasing 1 & 2 in 3D right before the 3rd comes out. ;) Remember, I basically work for Disney channel... I know ALL. :D
Also, I'm sure you already know about this but the guy who did Spirited Away is doing a new movie, Ponyo On A Cliff... it's SO WEIRD. And the kids doing the voices are little Jonas brother (bonus Jones we call him) and little Miley Cyrus (don't know her sister's name... yes that's what we call her)

WTF?!?!?!!?!?

Up was so SAD! So sad! And you're right, there were parts in there that were a lot darker. Blood on the guys forehead, Ellie not being able to have kids, her death, there was a gun....I was kind of shocked really. I just adored the balloons too. I don't pretend to be an animation wiz, but that program had to be intense. The physics on that whole movie was just intense. Everything moved, acted, and reacted with everything, especially the balloons. Pixar just keeps uping itself on that.
