So I redid my journal layout for the first time in many many years (me meaning I wrangled lostsailors to do it because coding and all that shit hurts my brain). It's still being fine-tuned, but one thing presented a problem. If you click into an LJ-cut, the layout stays the same instead of going to that default LJ page. No idea how to solve your problem I'm afraid, but I would like to ask a favour *smiles winningly*. Would lostsailors (or another layout guru of your acquaintance) be up for creating a web layout for an epic 10.5/Rose fic to be posted soon?
We've got most of the fic written and we now have posters and a TRAILER about ready to be posted. We've got the domain name all ready, but we're beyond rubbish at coding, so we're pleading for someone to do a layout for us./plea.

Hope you get your own layout problems sorted :D

I got the layout sorted. And I too am crap at layouts, so I would be no help. And I know that lostsailors is fairly busy and probably doesn't have the time to help out. Sorry! Good luck though.

It must be possible through the LJ settings pages, but I defer to lostsailors' coding-fu.

When I've posted images, I've had to do trial and error to find the right size to "shrink" it to.

Yup there is. Go to Customize, Disable customized comment pages for your journal and change the setting to No. :) I'm -pretty- sure that's what does it.
