So I ended up purchasing a full-weekend ticket for New York Comic Con. It's not that expensive, but I'm only really planning on going all-day Saturday and perhaps Sunday (I think Joss Whedon will be there Sunday?). I know lovely Miss gaminette is going, and I'm trying to convince par_tay to go, too, but is anyone else going to attend ( Read more... )

Saturday and Sunday. Though I have the weekend pass, too.
I'm going for Torchwood, Joss Whedon, and what bit of X-Men-y stuff they're gonna have. Slash to experience it. Because I'm a geek.

I usually get a full weekend pass to all cons, but only ever end up going on Saturday so I got just the Saturday pass this year and OF COURSE there's stuff I want to see on Friday! argh.

Ah, well. There's always Otakon and the AnimeFest. ^_~

I also only ever end up just hanging in the Dealers' Room. Are you going to panels on Saturday? I'll happily join you!

They only had weekend passes at Borders and I'd rather have the ticket physically in my hand, you know? I don't mind paying the extra bit because since they're still announcing guests. What if something awesome happens on Friday and I'd miss it because I only had a day-pass?

I totally do the Dealer's Room too, but I'm planning on attending the Torchwood and the Dead Like Me panels. I think they're having a preview screening of the Torchwood mini-series (which will be OUR first look) and an autograph session (I always feel sort of weird getting autographs, but my mood might change). And I just <3 <3 <3 Dead Like Me to bits. Otherwise, I'm all free! That stuff is in the afternoon.

And totally join me! I ended up randomly going to a BSG panel two years ago without knowing a thing about the show and I was convinced to start watching.

He's promoting stuff for Dollhouse. I think I remember other names listed, but the only one I recognized immediately was Whedon's.
