*de-lurks* I had a blast meeting you! I'm sorry I had to bail so quickly, I would have enjoyed visiting more. And congratulations again x100 for the Babiez. You're a SUPERSTAR NOW.
I think there was a comment about how to keep young, she bathes in the blood of virgins and that’s why she goes to conventions.
That's the best explanation I've heard so far. The woman is unreal in person, I'm half-convinced she's a goddess.
It was so awesome to geek out with you about animation late one night--Sunday? Time has no meaning in the Lobby. But OMG YAYS. I think there should be baby!Ianto with Lisa for GDL at Gally to sign, personally :)
The days sure blur together, don't they? I had trouble figuring out what day it was today! And I will TOTALLY geek out over animation with you at any time! You saw how much I rambled!
Sadly, I don't think I'll be at Gally this year, but if anyone WANTS to get baby!Ianto signed, I would not object! =^^=
(I meant to leave a comment earlier, but I figured it'd be in poor taste with your friend just passing away. Would you mind if I friended you?)
And if there are any LJ people that I met at the con and are lurking, HI! Stop by, I don’t bite!
Hi-- we didn't meet at ChiTARDIS, but I'm a friend (and Friend) of neadods, as well as an admirer of your comic. I hope you don't mind that I've finally got up the nerve to Friend you; Nea can tell you I'm only fannishly insane, rather than in a scary way. :P
Isn't it sort of funny that at a con that small-ish, you still end up not bumping into people? And awwwwww, I totally get you on getting the nerve, but really, I'm totally chill so no worries! I'll friend you back! And welcome!
Actually, I'm based in Cardiff, so I wasn't at ChiTARDIS this year (possibly next, depending on what my schedule is). I ran a Who Academic conference here about a fortnight prior to it so that killed the potential trip awhile ago. :(
I live only a few minutes from where the con was, and my sister mentioned how she saw a bunch of people with con shirts over at the local indoor mall (Yorktown if that means anything to you...)
but that's massively awesome! just shows you how wide-spred everyhing is nowadays.
oh, and John (and maybe Gareth if he decides to come) will be in the Chicago area late spring/early summer so I might get to meet him! *knocks on wood*
Oh, I went to that mall for food a few times, and I think even some of the guests sneaked out to do a bit of shopping (I believe Lis Sladen was one of them).
just shows you how wide-spred everyhing is nowadays.

Which makes the theory about virgin sacrifice all the more plausible!
