I bought a cheap space heater a few months ago. Today I loved it. Dry socks are a wonderful thing when the world is slushy.

To be fair, it's not that they can't smell what we cook. They just happen to like it for the most part (I regularly get compliments on what we've cooked).

And I know it's goofy, but the "no red meat on Friday during Lent" thing still sticks with me, despite leaving Catholicism years ago. I do wonder if it's because of habit, because I'm showing respect in my own way towards God, or if I just leap at an excuse to eat fish.
