Time's up on submitting entries for the 2006 prediction puddle; your entries have been logged so that they can no longer be changed. Here are my own thoughts as to how the year is likely to progress, though I note that bateleur said that he would have only scored 4/5 himself on his own first year's prediction pool.

( A summary in advance of my LiveJournal posts for 2006. Not as interesting as I thought it was going to be, unfortunately. Sorry. )

Ah, excellent. I managed to miss last year's OxCon - mostly on account of not having a jiggery_pokery reminder. They even managed to conveniently avoid organizing it on a frayer weekend. I'll be around for the whole weekend - casual gaming and the inevitable chocolate challenge. I'm on a 6pm finish next week, so I'll most likely see you at the Laserquest or Friday night curry.

Part of the reason for this is that I managed to miss last year's OxCon too, due to it coinciding with a set of shifts. Looking forward to seeing you!

Aye, I remember that being the case. 'Twill be good to see you, and also get in my yearly game of Outpost (amongst other things).

Under “Regarding adventures and misadventures” I noticed that you included the following: I drink six or more units of alcohol in 24 hours at least once in 2006. This kind of drinking is usually called “binge drinking.” I’m not exactly sure why you choose to include such an option, but it seems that if you answered “yes” to this option, chances were much greater for you to also experience the following two options:

1. I am involved in a car accident which costs me at least £150.
2. I visit a police station at least once in 2006.
