So last night I got abducted to a Days Inn in Hinckley by Kirk and Sarah. Then this morning we went to Duluth, where it was freezing, so we went to Ragstock to buy warmer clothing, and Kirk walked out looking like he was on a Yeti hunt. We eventually wound up back in Hinckley, at the Casino, where we ran into Tobin and Mark. WTF coincidence

So I was about to say "you mean RE-starting, right? because you have clearly read JS & Mr N several times! I know this for a fact!" and then remembered the zillion and twelve times I've done exactly this. And been dead wrong.

I got my copy of Anansi Boys when it first came out, and got it signed and everything, and started it that night, and...haven't picked it up again. Hmmm. Having just re-read American Gods, maybe I ought to try again.

To be fair, it seems like the sort of book I should have read by now. It is constantly recommended to me, not even by people who loved it like mad themselves and want everyone to read it (though plenty of those, too) but by people who read it, sort of liked it, and then knew they had to tell me, specifically, because I would fall madly in love with it. XD

You really should! It's . . . I want to say lighter in tone than American Gods, but there's still plenty of dark, it's just overall a very sweet book. It's nice.
