Today was my k-2 judo kids tournament, perhaps the most stressful day of the term. Very few tears, from the kids myself or josh. It is very true that tests and tournaments tell me more about what I am teaching the kids than about anything else. I find that I tend to really beat myself up that my students are not learning as much as I want them to

This was such a sweet post. Why should you be depressed? You have a lot to be proud of! I think what you're doing is amazing, and that how much you're invested in these kids is amazing (and shows what a brilliant teacher you are!) I can't wait to hear about everything you're doing in person, it sounds like you're doing an excellent job.
