I spent yesterday digging through garage sales and halfassing a trip to Wet n' Wild. I have an annual pass, now. Much happier about the books, though I won't say no to a good water slide

"19 The Time Traveller's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger - I JUST BOUGHT THIS. But have not read it. Uh-oh, now I'm positive it sucks. XD"
My sister has read it and claims that it is good. *shrug* I don't precisely share her taste, but she usually has good instincts for these things, being a real-life editor and all.
"29 Alice in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll (*Uninmpressed.* One of the rare occasions on which Disney improved the tale.)"
Yeah, no kidding. The walrus and the fisherman or whatever is the only part of the book that I like, and that's just because I know a little about the people they represent (Queen Victoria's two main politicians).
"72 Dracula - Bram Stoker (DNGTF. SRYSLY. Its origins, however, are femmeslash, and that pleases me.)"
If you're going to include the gothic horror genre, both Frankenstein and The Phantom of the Opera are way, way better. Frankenstein, in particular, has deeper meaning.
I don't get these people. I was just thinking this morning, where is Bradbury? Vonnegut? They've got Catch 22 but not

Oh, okay. That's good. Nothing can be as horrible as Twilight, anyway. XD
YES. I was kind of surprised. Um, walrus and...yeah, I don't remember the other dude, I think he was a fisherman.
I'm just biased against the Nosferatu, I think, but I didn't like his writing style either, and it hurt, because I wanted to like the characters and so forth--absolutely everyone else does and I'm missing the boat.
Yeah. They're confusing people. I mean. Captain Corelli's Mandolin?
I haven't read it, but I'm rather of the mind that I don't need to; it has nothing in it I care about and the movie's in heavy cable rotation, because it's awful sap. XD
Screw them.
Hey let's make our own lists! ^_^ That would be fun.
